Discover Monteverde: The Heart of the Cloud Forest
Monteverde is in the highlands of Costa Rica. Its elevation of 1,440 meters above sea level creates a unique climate.
Here, the Pacific Ocean’s cool air meets the warmer currents from the Atlantic, forming rare and beautiful cloud forests.
These forests are known for their lush, mist-covered landscapes, rich biodiversity, and vibrant ecosystems.
Monteverde is known for its private reserves and conservation areas, including the world-famous Monteverde Reserve.
This area is a paradise for nature lovers and adventure seekers. It offers a chance to see an incredible variety of plants, animals, and birds, such as the resplendent quetzal.
Visitors can explore the forests through canopy walks, hanging bridges, and guided nature hikes.
