Caribbean - Cahuita
Horseback Riding tour in Cahuita

The local guide Mr. Joe, the last authentic cowboy of the Cahuita community, will lead the tour. He is known with that nickname, because he belongs to the last generation of people who used to mobilized by horseback riding, before the roads in the area where made. The activity is performed on tame and trained horses that allow expert horsemen as well as beginners to practice the tour with great ease. The cavalcade is a mixture between nature, and culture that takes the visitors around the streets of Cahuita passing through Playa Negra, and Playa Grande until arriving at the mouth of the river Tuba Creek, where also one rides in a sector of forest having the opportunity to appreciate the common flora and fauna of the humid tropical forest.
