Curicancha is part of 210 acre private wildlife reserve in the very heart of Monteverde, covering both lower, which encompasses premontane and humid virgin moist forests. YYou begin your walk in a wide viewpoint of the Gulf of Nicoya, surrounded by 1,800 trees, recently planted, the issues related to the danger of extinction, which are part of the habitat of many altitudinal migrants, including the Quetzal Resplendent.
Your bilingual guide will guide you with history, importance of the area and consultations. You will follow a series of nature trails to the depths of the forest where you will learn about relationships, the critical roles of this incredibly complex and diverse habitat. You can be sure that there are many pairs of eyes following your progress but your guide is an expert in flora, fauna, insect habitats, birds and local animals.
