Gold sand beaches and calm waters ideal for swimming.

The Jaco Beach area encompasses almost everything that attracts visitors to Costa Rica: exuberant tropical forests, green hills, vibrant sea and pristine beaches. Jaco offers many popular vacation spots like a well-developed beach town, a biological reserve, a national marine park, the famous Carara National Park and more. The area is very rich in flora and fauna.

You can find endangered species such as the Scarlet Macaw and Central America squirrel monkey. Its forests hold spectacular waterfalls and some of its rivers are great for white water rafting. You can explore wildlife on guided tour hikes, horseback riding tours or canopy adventures.

Beaches of the region are very diverse. Some are excellent for surfing and sea kayaking, other for snorkeling or sport fishing.
