Hacienda La Isla

Hidden in the hills of the Braulio Carrillo National Park, it was built in the Spanish colonial style. Hacienda La Isla Lodge is very well located in the center of many Costa Rica attractions. A perfect gateway for your visit to the jungle and the Sarapiquí adventure sites, the exotic Caribbean beaches, the Arenal volcano or the famous Tortuguero canals and sea turtles. Its location next to mountain streams and lush rainforest and grassland, guests will find the mysteries of the rainforest while enjoying a comfortable stay in the halls of the hacienda's design history. This lodge is a unique way out of the common tourism experience in Costa Rica because it offers visitors and guests an imaginative program that expands the visit of passive personnel, and everyone will leave there with a vivid impression of colonial history and dynamic life. In the rainforest.

It has 14 luxury rooms and 1 suite. Staying in one of the rooms of the historic hacienda is a romantic and unforgettable experience. The colonial atmosphere and the surrounding jungle add that feeling. All rooms have water heating with solar panels. There are no room numbers. Each room is named after an aspect of the Hispanic colony and pre-Columbian era and is subtly furnished and decorated with antiques and historical objects. Each room tells a different story.

The menu offers the best in specially created fusion cuisine, using the freshest products, meats, fish and spices, fruits and vegetables from the region or from the plantations and the organic gardens themselves.
