After a guided scenic drive through Sabanero (cow boy) Country to the put-in location, enjoy a two hour cruise on the Tempisque River being the nearest access to world famous Palo Verde National Park, home to hundreds of migrating water bird species. Among other creatures you might see monkeys, scarlet macaws, iguanas, crocodiles, caimans and occasionally smaller mammals on the river banks. Enjoy a visit as well to Guaitil Indigenous Artisans Village.
