The Trapp Family Lodge is strategically set in a small private reserve just a few minutes away from the Monteverde Cloud Forest. The Lodge is in a small private reserve surrounded by a paradise of flora and fauna.
The lodge is ideal for visitors who enjoy being in a cozy family atmosphere. It has a rustic style with wooden rooms and panoramic views of the surrounding cloud forest. In a typical day at Trapp Family Lodge, guests will start their day to the unique chirpings of hundreds of birds and then enjoy a delicious early breakfast. Once they are fuelled up, they can go for a walk through the gorgeous cloud forest surrounding the hotel in search for quetzals. In the afternoon they will choose between visiting the Monteverde reserve, an adrenaline sky trek or canopy tour or horseback riding around the area.
