Hotel Pochote Grande Hotel is located in Jacó, Puntarenas at the quiet northern end of this 2 1/2 mile beach. This beach front hotel has 24 rooms surrounded by tropical gardens and a beautiful partially shaded swimming pool. Behind the garden there is a gateway that leads guests directly onto the beach. In the middle of the property there is a ¨Pochote Grande¨ or large Pochote tree which provides shade to many birds and animals such as owls, iguanas, squirrels and even a racoon family. The hotel´s large, clean rooms have either a terrace or a balcony with diagonal views of the beach, garden and pool.
During the day guests can take tours to Carara National Park, or Manuel Antonio. They can also go horseback riding, rafting, surf all day or just relax and hang around the pool. Within walking distance visitors can reach downtown Jacó were they will find an array of typical and international restaurants and interesting shops.
