Hacienda Guachipelín is a Costa Rican rural style hotel located at the foot of Rincón de la Vieja Volcano. For more than a century Hacienda Guachipelin has been a working ranch dedicated to cattle and horse breeding. Nowadays, the property comprises 1600 hectares of land, of which 700 hectares are set aside for the conservation of the tropical dry forest; 575 hectares are used as pastureland and 325 hectares are being reforested with tropical species in danger of extinction.
Hacienda Guachipelin is a special setting for nature lovers and adventure travellers. Natural hot springs, virgin forests, jungle waterfalls and volcanic mud pots are just some of the many attractions visitors can enjoy during a stay at the Hacienda.
The hotel's rustic accommodations are cozy and comfortable, encircled by wide terraces which are great for evening chats. It is surrounded by lush gardens with exquisite views of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano and of the cobalt Pacific Ocean.

The hotel has 26 rooms: 18 standard doubles and 8 large family rooms and one single room in the old "casona.¨. All rooms have fan, private bathrooms with hot water. The rooms are housed in simple buildings, with wide and inviting verandas for sharing afternoon chats with fellow travellers.

Food & Beverages: The hotel´s restaurant features beef, chicken, pork, fish and pasta served with steamed vegetables and white rice served in a perfect setting with magnificent views of the country side and marimba music. The small bar offers a wide range of National and imported liquors.
