About San Ramon

San Ramón is a quite interesting town founded by Don Ramón Rodriguez who was one of the first pioneers to settle near the city. Close by the visitor will find unspoiled cloudforests and nature trails.

San Ramon has become recently a new destination for tourists that are looking for a place to relax and enjoy its beautiful natural surroundings.
Just a couple of years ago, a new hotel was opened, the Villa Blanca Hotel & Spa. It is probably the best option to stay while in the area.

How To Get There:

Located just over an hour from the city of San José , the hotel is conveniently situated halfway between San Jose and La Fortuna (Arenal Volcano). Take the Pan American Highway North past the town of Palmares , exiting at San Ramon, and then follow the road straight across town.
