From San Jose Take the Panamerican Highway North and follow directions to Puntarenas, and to the Puente del Tempisque (Puente de La Amistad). 3 kms. after the exit of Las Juntas de Abangares you will see a Shell Gas Station on your left. From here turn left and drive following the signs to Puente del Tempisque (¨also called Puente de La Amistad¨) through a nice concrete road. Once you cross the bridge continue driving following the signs to Nicoya. Once in Nicoya downtown, find the sign to Samara Beach.
