A wide range of unforgetable experiences. From the exhilaration of seeing the lava of Arenal Volcano flowing down the mountain, to the perfect relaxation on Tamarindo's beach; from the rejuvenating effect that the hot springs provide; to the winding down on a balcony viewing the sunset.

Day 01 Arrival-San Jose :
Arrive by air into San Jose. A representative from Costa Rican Trails will meet you at the airport and provide transfer to the Hotel for your first night in Costa Rica.

Day 02 Arenal Volcano :
Arenal’s perfectly symmetrical shape makes it a sightseer’s dream, while its abundance of outdoor activities makes it an easy place to check things off your “must-do in Costa Rica” list.
One of the nicest volcanoes in Costa Rica, , cloud forests, a lake world-famous for windsurfing and an incredibly diverse population of wildlife is what you will find in this area.

Arenal Volcano Hike & Hot Springs
late afternoon visit to the trails of El Silencio and the volcanic thermal mineral pools at Tabacon Hot Springs , where you can enjoy a healthy and relaxing soak and enjoy of a delicious dinner. B/D

Day 03 Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge :
The Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge and the Rio Frio are biological humid areas considered to be one of the richest in biological diversity in Costa Rica. Here you can find a great variety of resident and migratory birds plus three different species of monkeys, also iguanas, sloths, turtles and caymans.
The tour starts when we you up at your hotel in a very comfortable bus for the 1,5 hour Transfer to Los Chiles, a culturally mixed village only 4-km from the Nicaraguan border. Here your boat waits for your river adventure, at that time we begin our 2,5 hour floating safari through Tropical Rain Forest and pastures until we arrive at the marsh. An experienced English - Spanish speaking guide leads the tour.
Along the river we can see howler monkeys, spider monkeys, white-faced monkeys, also the three-toed sloth and some reptiles like caimans, Jesus Christ lizard and turtles. B/L

Day 04 Panama Beach :
Time to relax on the beach!! Transfer to Panama Beach in Guanacaste.

vegetation after which the beach was named.


Day 05 Sunset Cruise :
It has the Blue Flag certification and categorized as one of the most sanitary beaches in the country.
Silently glide along Costa Rica’s Gold Coast while passing some of Guanacaste’s exotic bays, white sand beaches, tropical jungles and rain forest.
Gaze off the bow with a cold tropical drink prepared and served by our crew as you scan the seas for dolphins, sea turtles, flying fish or even a breaching whale.
Stop in a tranquil bay, drop anchor and frolic in the blue Pacific. Stand up paddle through sea caves, float on a raft, snorkel in the bay or run down the deserted white
sand beach while the ever helpful crew prepares a feast of chicken or pasta salad, fruit, chips, pico de gallo and guacamole. The Marlin Del Rey catamaran will set sail a
nd you will hear the waves slide along the giant catamaran as the sun sets, illuminating the clouds left in the sky. Bring your camera and capture the moment everyone t

What to Bring:

Clothing: Costa Rica is a very informal and casual country. Formal attire is only used in the city of San Jose and on very special occasions (Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries)
We recommend to bring a sweater for the highland areas, and light loose fitting shirts, pants or jeans, and shorts for the lowland areas.
For the beach areas please dont forget to bring a hat or cap, sunscreen, and sun glasses.
For the rainforest and the National Parks we recommend hiking boots, a small backpack, water bottle, pocket knife, flashlight, insect repellent, rainwear, and a pair of binoculars to observe animals.
