Surrounded by the undisturbed primary lowland rainforest of the Piedras Blancas National Park, an extension of the Corcovado National Park and the clear waters of the Golfo Dulce.
Through years of research and tracking animals, biologists have declared this area to be a migratory path of species between the different national parks. This is part of the path called Mesoamerican Biological Corridor renowned for being one of the most biologically diverse places on earth. At Golfo Dulce there is a wide variety of tours and activities to enjoy, including kayacking, river tours, hiking, wildlife viewing at Piedras Blancas National park, and tropical botanic garden tours.

How to get there:
If you are driving, take the Southern Interamerican Highway that passes through Cartago and continues to San Isidro del General. Once you arrive to San Isidro del General follow the signs to Buenos Aires. After Buenos Aires continue the highway along the side of Terraba river until you reach Palmar Norte. Continue straight until you see the exit to Golfito on your right side.
Upon arrival to Golfito, take a 20 minute boat ride across to one of the lodges at the Golfo Dulce private reserve.
