Cloud Forest Nature Walk and Quetzal

This tour departs from Villa Blanca at 6:00 a.m. and travels approximately 45 minutes along a scenic drive to the Azahar Peak, located near La Paz de San Ramón. The tour continues to the summit, reaching a private family farm where the Quetzal nests. There a light breakfast is served before entering the trail within this pristine cloud forest. You may observe the footprints of the wild boars and cats that habitat this higher elevation area, along with a variety of higher attitude birds (1400 meters), including the illusive Quetzal who nests in this area between Feb. & June each year.
