PANACA is a Theme Park strategically located in San Mateo of Orotina (1hr away from San Jose and Jaco, which main goal is to turn the attention towards the country side in such an interactive way that the city people can understand the importance of the agricultural and animal sector in the economical and social development .
The tour starts either in San Jose or Jaco with a bilingual guide that will be describing the landscapes and the history in general. The first show starts at the Cattle Station, where you learn about the different beef cattle, dairy cattle and exotic breeds. The second show begins, at the dog station where we can see a big variety of breeds and canine specimens. At the Pork station is important to get to know the most complete sample of both pure and native Costa Rican races. Here, people can discover everything about the shepherding methods of Swinish. Our next activity will be at the Horse Station where we can enjoy, see and take pictures of the diverse horse breeds, pure bloods and spectacular Costa Rican Criollo horse. Also, the Andaluz horses will dance at the music rhythm, and visitors will have fun with an exhibition of international cowboys show and native acrobatics. Visitors will enjoy of different activities at each station.
