TOUR: Cachabri Indigenous Reserve

Passengers will have a visit to Amubri, Bribri and Cachabri Indian Village located 3 hours from Almonds & Corals, going into the Talamanca Mountain Range. Cross the Sixaola river by boat. We will see cocoa plantations, bananas, thatch roofed huts and the simplicity of life of these people. In Cachabri we will be met by an AWA (indigenous medicine man) who will tell us about their traditions and religion. After that we will walk to the botanical garden of the village and on the way back we will pass by the big flat stone they use to grind their grains. Picnic box-lunch in the village. Visit of the Iguana Project of the Bribri Indians and return to the hotel by public bus.
