On this trip you will enjoy two nights at The Bristol, a nice boutique hotel in Panama City and three nights at Coral Lodge on the pristine San Blas Islands. The contrast of the cosmopolitan capital and the pristine beaches and tranquility of the Caribbean archipelago could not be bigger. Relax, and get to know the interesting Kuna culture and traditions.

Day 01 Panama City :
Upon arrival to Panama a representative of Panama Trails will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your city hotel for your first night in Panama.

Panama City is the capital and largest city in the country. It is home to a diverse blend of cultures and an enormous historical sector in the Old City. The lively and vibrant banking district on the other hand is very modern and often compared to Miami. Panama City is a thrilling location you will surely enjoy during your visit to this gorgeous country.

Day 02 Panama City – San BlasIn the morning you will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to Miramar on Panama’s Caribbean coast, approximately 2.5 hours from Panama City. From there, the lodge’s boat will take you in 45 minutes to Coral Lodge where you will stay in an over-water thatched bungalow. The setting is pristine with beach view against a backdrop of virgin rainforest. :

Overnight at Coral Lodge, over the water bungalow, meals, beverages and 1 daily tour or Spa treatment included.

Days 03-04 San Blas Islands
Free days at Coral Lodge. Enjoy the sea view from your hammock, relax at the beach or join one of the activities offered by Coral Lodge. A daily tour or Spa treatment is included in your package. Among the excursions are kayak trips, horseback riding, snorkeling, sunset cruise and the lodge’s signature tour to a Kuna village of the San Blas Islands.

Overnight at Coral Lodge, over the water bungalow, meals, beverages and 1 daily tour or Spa treatment included.

Day 05 San Blas Islands – Panama City :
After breakfast, a 40 minutes boat trip will take you back to the mainland. From there you will be transferred back to Panama City for the last night at The Bristol Panama.

Overnight at The Bristol hotel, deluxe double room, breakfast included.

Day 06 Departure :
After breakfast you will be transferred to the Tocumen Airport for your international flight back home.

What to Bring:

Clothing: Panama is a very informal and casual country. Formal attire is only used in Panama City and on very special occasions (Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries)
We recommend to bring a sweater for the highland areas, and light loose fitting shirts, pants or jeans, and shorts for the lowland areas.
For the beach areas please don't forget to bring a hat or cap, sunscreen, and sun glasses.
For the rainforest and the National Parks we recommend hiking boots, a small backpack, water bottle, pocket knife, flashlight, insect repellent, rainwear, and a pair of binoculars to observe animals.
