Day 01 Arrival - Managua :
Arrival at the International airport in Managua. Meet and greet by one of our representatives, transfer will be provided to the hotel for your first night in Nicaragua.

Overnight at Angel Azul, standard room. Breakfast included.

Day 02 Managua - Matagalpa - Finca Esperanza Verde :
After breakfast, transfer to the mountainous region of Matagalpa and the cloud forest.

Finca Esperanza Verde located in San Ramon, Matagalpa, accommodation in your cabin, the staff is ready to show you what they have accomplished in developing the farm's lodge and cabins, shade grown organic coffee, butterfly farm and camp ground. This is a real opportunity not only to enjoy the stunning beauty of the mountainous Matagalpa region of Nicaragua but also to meet local people.

Day 03 Finca Esperanza Verde :
Today you will have full day of activities:

Guided Hiking for Flora and Fauna Visitors may see sloths, howler monkeys, over 200 species of birds (local and migratory), orchids, medicinal plants, and much more.

Discover the World of Butterflies Visit our butterfly pavilion and learn about the life cycle of 15 species of tropical butterflies, from eggs to larva, to pupae, to adult butterflies.

Traditional Nicaraguan Cooking Learn how to make tortillas and roast coffee the traditional Nicaraguan way.

Overnight at Finca Esperanza, colibri cabin. Full Board.

Day 04 Matagalpa - Montibelli Dry Forest & Reserve :
After breakfast transfer to the Sierra Managua mountain range and the old coffee hacienda and private natural reserve of Montibelli. Lunch in the reserve, in the afternoon hike with your guide in the several trails specially designed for nature lovers.

This family owned paradise for birds like the Long-Tailed Manakin and the Turquoise-Browed Mot Mot and virtual rainbow of butterflies. Dinner at the hacienda house and lodging in private cabin. The reserve lies on Managua's sierra and its altitude ranges from 360 to 720 meters above sea level. Most of the area is covered with tropical dry forest, and many different types of animals and plants inhabit the reserve.

Day 05 Bird watching in Montibelli. :
After breakfast, we will go for a Bird watching tour. In company of your local expert hike in the forest, enjoy of this unique biodiversity and Natural History that can be found in Montibelli.

Not only can you find woodpeckers, hummingbirds, parrots, vultures, hawks, golden orioles, and motmots (the national bird); the reserve is also inhabited by an impression population of trogons. Go with your specialized guide to discover this amazing place and inhabitants.

Day 06 Granada :
Transfer to Granada arriving in the nicest colonial city of Nicaragua.

Built by the Spanish conquistadors in 1524, Granada is the best place for tourism because of its beauty and colonial architecture, charming hotels and activities to enjoy nearby; Lake Nicaragua and the islands.

Afternoon Bird Watching on Lake Nicaragua

Bird's lover will have the choice to spend 3 hours observing the amazing range of local and migrating birds right on the Peninsula of Asese of Lake Nicaragua on a fascinating electric and ecological boat closer, without noise and pollution left behind you, to discover bird habitat and to take the best photographs in the best conditions.

Day 07 Masaya and the Pueblos :
This tour start in the city of Masaya. You will discover the First National Park created in Nicaragua, the active Masaya Volcano, as well as its small museum dedicated to the volcano's history.

Then you will visit the finest Handicraft Market where you can enjoy the creativity and variety of Nicaraguan art at bargain prices.

Continue to Catarina where you will enjoy delicious lunch with a magnificent view on the Apoyo lagoon, Mombacho volcano, Granada and Lake Nicaragua. Late afternoon, visit San Juan de Oriente, famous for its ceramic arts.

Free evening to enjoy Granada's nightlife . Lots of restaurants and bars are available.

Day 08 Departure :
Transfer to Managua International airport to catch your flight back to your country.
