Explore on your own! You go as you please, choosing hotels and lodges from the category you selected. There are over 150 hotels in the three categories covering almost the whole country. In order to receive the discounted rates, advance bookings at the selected hotels are not accepted. You may however; call in advance to see if a room is available. When calling or checking in, you must identify yourself as a Costa Rican Trails Freedom tour client.

Day 1 Arrival - San Jose :
Meet & Greet at the airport. Transfer will be then provided to the city hotel of
your choice.Transfer Airport - City hotel.
Overnight at hotel of your choice in San Jose. (pre-booked) Breakfast included.

Day 2 San Jose Flexi Drive. :
Early in the morning, transfer to our office to pick up your bike. Briefing l and discussion of the best route and choices of hotels. Then you are off to explore Costa Rica on your own.
Overnight at hotel of your choice.

Day 3 - 7 Flexi Drive :
Drive through scenic Costa Rica and full fill all your desires and interests
Overnight at hotels of your choice. (based on the taken category). Breakfast included. (unless otherwise specified)

Day 8 Departure :
Drive to the International Airport; drop bike and departure flight.

What to Bring:

Riders: Bring helmet, riding gear, jacket, leather boots, and a valid motorcycle drivers license
Clothing: Costa Rica is a very informal and casual country. Formal attire is only used in the city of San Jose and on very special occasions (Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries)
We recommend to bring a sweater for the highland areas, and light loose fitting shirts, pants or jeans, and shorts for the lowland areas.
For the beach areas please don't forget to bring a hat or cap, sunscreen, and sun glasses.
For the rainforest and the National Parks we recommend hiking boots, a small backpack, water bottle, pocket knife, flashlight, insect repellent, rainwear, and a pair of binoculars to observe animals.
