Lomas del Volcan - Arenal Volcano Costa Rica

Lomas del Volcan is a small and cozy hotel located on a mountainside within the boundaries of a 360-acre farm. The lodge sits at the foot of the majestic Arenal Volcano, just 4 km away from La Fortuna.
The lodge offers thirteen spacious wooden bungalows, each in harmony with the surrounding nature and completely secluded. Each bungalow includes two terraces, from which you may enjoy one of the most spectacular views of the Arenal Volcano and bordered by colorful plants and flowers.
Guests at Lomas del Volcan will enjoy the incredible diversity of plants and animals surrounding that will surround them in the tropical forest. Nearby they will also enjoy an array of natural attractions including Butterfly Garden, Fortuna River Waterfall, Tabacon Hot Springs, Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge, Venado Caves and Monteverde Conservation Area.

La Fortuna

Take the Inter American Highway North, which passes through the International Airport, towards San Ramon, approximately 35 miles (56 km). Once, arriving San Ramon, you will see a blue sign, indicating the way to the La Fortuna. Drive straight through the downtown San Ramón, until you reach a dead end. Turn left and drive 2 blocks forwards the San Ramon Hospital, then turn right onto the road to La Fortuna. You will see two signs for La Fortuna while driving through San Ramon, as well as other signs for the Arenal Volcano. Follow the signs to La Fortuna and Arenal. It will take you through a number of small towns, including Los Angeles, Balsa, Bajo Rodriguez, where there is voluntary toll. At the toll booth you will see a 45 km sign to La Fortuna. Keep driving through the towns of La Tigra, San Isidro and Chachagua and La Fortuna. Once you arrive La Fortuna, continue driving towards Arenal Volcano for 2 km. You will find the hotel's entrance on the left side of the road. From the hotel entrance you must drive 1.5 km through the hotel's private property.
