The trip takes approximately 3 hours driving from San Jos�. When leaving San Jos� take the main Pan American highway (Carretera Interamericana) going North towards Puntarenas. The highway will pass the Juan Santa Mar�a airport. Stay on the Interamericana for about 10-15 minutes more, until you see an exit for a town (pueblo) called Atenas. There is a sign that reads Atenas / Orotina / Jaco. Take this exit and continue driving for about 2 hours following the signs to Jac�. You will pass the entrance to Playa Jaco, continue driving straight for about 1 more hour, following the signs to Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Once you arrive at Quepos continue driving for 5 Km forwards until you see the signs for Manuel Antonio National Park.
