The Hotel is located at Santa Teresa de Malpais, about 4 km north of Cabo Blanco Reserve. Tropico Latino Lodge is set in a grove of Pochote trees in whose shade lush tropical gardens have been planted. The bungalows combine modern lines and comfort with local materials. 10 spacious bungalows, each fronted by a wide individual porch with hammocks and some with a/c.
A typical palm thatched ''rancho'' houses the restaurant which overlooks the beach side swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

How To Get There

You drive the Panamerican Highway # 1 via Palmares, San Ramon, Esparza, towards Puntarenas. You have to get into downtown Puntarenas and follow the map signs to reach the Paquera Ferry Boat. (See map of Downtown Puntarenas #27 and follow the green route). The ferry ride takes about one and a half hours. Once in Paquera drive towards Tambor and then Cobano. At Cobano continue straight to Cabo Blanco National Park, and follow the signs to Mal Pais and Santa Teresa.
