From San José take the Pan American Highway North and follow the signs to San Ramón, Naranjo, Puntarenas, Cañas and Liberia. When arriving to Liberia, Guanacaste's main city, after approximately a 4 hour drive, turn left at the main intersection (the first traffic light). Drive straight forward passing by the Daniel Oduber International Airport, when you get to the bridge over the Tempisque River turn right on the first entrance and continue driving over the main road that will lead you straight to the hotel. Keep an eye and follow the Occidental Hotels & Resorts signs.
