El Establo is a lodge located in the heart of the conservation area of Monteverde Costa Rica, 7 kms from the Santa Elena Rain Forest and 4 kms from the Monteverde Cloud Forest. The hotel is owned by a Quaker / Costa Rican family who give guests friendly service and will definitely go out of their way to ensure guests a wonderful vacation.
Set in a private, 150 acres private property with 50% protected primary forest, El Establo lodge offers 80 comfortable rooms and suites, large living rooms, a solar heated pool & Jacuzzi with views of Nicoya Gulf, a lake & private cloud forest trails, a basket ball & volley ball court, and a great restaurant.
At Hotel El Establo visitors will start their day with a delicious breakfast and then choose either to continue with an exciting basketball game, or with a fresh dip in the pool. For sure they will walk along the trails searching for Quetzals or other exotic birds and they will visit the Monteverde Reserve or the Santa Elena Reserve for a once in a lifetime experience through a primary cloud forest. As they come back they will relax in their room and enjoy the beautiful views through the window.
