Tilajari - Arenal Volcano Costa Rica

Tilajari Resort Hotel is located in the lush San Carlos Valley, in the north central region. It is surrounded by mountains, plains, rivers, lakes and rainforests and very close to Arenal Volcano, Tabacon Hot Springs, Fortuna Waterfall, Venado Caves and Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge among other great natural attractions. During the day guests can choose between walks or horseback riding through the rainforest, white water rafting, canopy tours, visiting butterfly gardens or agriculture plantations or simply relaxing at the resort.

The resort is set among 35 acres of magnificent gardens and tropical fruit trees overlooking the San Carlos River, where guests can occasionally watch crocodiles, caimans, giant iguanas and an immense variety of tropical birds. The hotel features comfortable rooms, swimming pool, jacuzzi, conference rooms, gift shop, sauna, tennis courts, racket ball among other amenities.

From San José to Tilajari, take the Pan American Highway (Rt. # 1) west toward Puntarenas until the Naranjo Exit (50 kilometers). Drive north passing Zarcero, Ciudad Quesada until Florencia where you must take a right (north) and continue driving for 13 kilometers until the intersection at Muelle. At the intersection turn left (west). Tilajari Resort is 800 meters on the right side of the street.
