Tilajari Resort Hotel is located in the lush San Carlos Valley, in the north central region. It is surrounded by mountains, plains, rivers, lakes and rainforests and very close to Arenal Volcano, Tabacón Hot Springs, Fortuna Waterfall, Venado Caves and Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge among other great natural attractions. During the day guests can choose between walks or horseback riding through the rainforest, white water rafting, canopy tours, visiting butterfly gardens or agriculture plantations or simply relaxing at the resort.
The resort is set among 35 acres of magnificent gardens and tropical fruit trees overlooking the San Carlos River, where guests can occasionally watch crocodiles, caimans, giant iguanas and an immense variety of tropical birds.
