If you are driving from the Juan Santamaria International Airport or San Jose, take the Inter American Highway towards Liberia. Once you arrive Liberia at the first traffic light ("El Cruce") turn left, heading southwest on highway 21 to Belen. At the Belen intersection, make a right following the signs to Hotel Sugar Beach, Flamingo and Conchal. Follow this road for 16 miles (26 km) through Huacas. Just after Huacas, take the first right following signs to Hotel Sugar Beach. Stay on this road for 5 ½ miles (9 km) passing through Brasilito. At the junction of Flamingo and Potrero, make a right onto the dirt road towards Potrero. After 4 miles (7 km) this dirt road ends at Hotel Sugar Beach. There are a few sharp turns, so watch for signs to the Hotel and for Potrero. Once in Potrero, drive around the soccer field to the northwest corner and continue on for only 1 ½ miles (3 km). The last hill is bumpy, but at the bottom you'll find the entrance to the hotel

3 Master Suites: One bedroom suites located near the pool with partial ocean view, each has a king size bed with AC and TV in the bedroom and an open air living room. Modern and spacious, the suites have 2 private balconies and are located on the second story above the deluxe rooms
