The hotel serves fabulous food in a rancho style palm-thatched restaurant and bar. The Italian chef, Pino and the dedicated staff offers great Italian food, fresh lobster and more in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel offers guests a complimentary typical and American-style breakfast buffet. Courtesy coffee is available all day long. Snack bar service is available all day offering sandwiches, delicious tropical salads and fresh fruit drinks.
Bungalow standard: two queen sized beds, ceiling fans, mosquito screens, and private bathrooms with hot water. These rooms are in palm-thatched duplex bungalows. The special palm leaf thatch will keep the room cool throughout the day.
Bungalow superior: hardwood bungalows with two queen sized beds and a bunk bed which will house up to 6 people, private porches with hammocks, mosquito nets, private bathrooms decorated in mosaic with hot water.
House: spacious house, fully equipped with kitchenette, 2 bedrooms and 2 private bathrooms with hot water, porch with hammocks and mosquito nets.

Puerto Viejo.
The distance from San Jose to Puerto Viejo is 210 km. From San José, the trip lasts about three and a half hours. Take the Braulio Carrillo highway # 32. Continue driving through Guípiles, Siquirres, Matina until you get to Limón City. Just before arriving downtown Limón you will pass through a cemetery. Continue through this road for 1 km until you see a sign on your right to Cahuita and Puerto Viejo. Turn to the right and drive through the coastline road passing Cahuita, Hone Creek and finally Puerto Viejo. We do not recommend driving through the Braulio Carrillo Highway at night since it gets foggy and visibility is very limited.Hotel Cariblue is located about a mile past Puerto Viejo in Playa Cocles.
