Casa Camarona - Puerto Viejo Costa Rica

Casa Camarona is a small beachfront hotel located right in front of the blue flag, award winning, Cocles Beach, in the southern Caribbean Coast, close to Puerto Viejo and Gandoca Manzanillo National Wildlife Refuge.
The facilities include 20 rooms with a simple Carribean style deco which balances with its beautiful natural surroundings.
In a typical day at Casa Camarona, guests will wake up with the sound of the waves and the birds playing in the gardens and will start a wonderful day with an energetic breakfast and a long walk on Punta Cocles Beach. In the afternoon they will choose between biking to downtown Puerto Viejo, kayaking through the ocean, daydreaming in a hammock or sunbathing at the beach.

Continue driving through Guápiles, Siquirres, Matina until you get to Limón City. Just before arriving downtown Limón you will pass through a cemetery. Continue through this road for 1 km until you see a sign on your right to Cahuita and Puerto Viejo. Turn to the right and drive through the coastline road passing Cahuita, Hone Creek Puerto Viejo and finally Cocles were Casa Camarona is located. We do not recommend driving through the Braulio Carrillo Highway at night since it gets foggy and visibility is very limited.
