Day 01 (Corcovado) Take flight to Palmar Sur. There we will drive you to Sierpe for a thrilling boat trip to the Drake Bay area. This will be you home base for the next three nights! (Full Board) Day 02 (Corcovado National Park) Familiarize yourself with the intricate workings of the rainforest on a day hike into Corcovado National Park and spend the rest of the day exploring on your own, relaxing or on a scheduled activity. (FAP/FB) Day 03 ( Caño Island) Off to the Caño Island Reserve, a 300-hectare island known for its Indian cemetery and coral reefs teeming with marine life. Time to relax and swim, or hike through the island. (FAP/FB) Day 04 (San José) After breakfast, transfer by boat and taxi to Palmar Sur and the flight back to San José. (B)

How To Get There

If you are driving, take the Southern Interamerican Highway that passes through Cartago and continues to San Isidro del General. Once you arrive to San Isidro del General follow the signs to Palmar Norte where you will take a right after the bridge heading towards Palmar Sur and Sierpe. You can leave the car in our Reception Center at Sierpe “La Hacienda” without extra charges and with security 24 hours. Afterwards You will travel with us through the beautiful Sierpe river, the jungle manglars, and then follow the Pacific coast until you arrive at the lodge. There are no roads to Punta Marenco and access is only by motor launch or by air.
