One of La Anita’s highlights is their food. It is delicious and it is also a 100% natural with a high nutritional value. The ingredients are harvested in their own orchard or they come from local farmers. With these ingredients, the ranch offers delicious gourmet cuisine based on their own recipes. The meals are served at the main deck, which is surrounded by forest and the best views of the Rincon de la Vieja and Santa María Volcanoes.
La Anita features 10 eco-cabins carefully designed to enjoy and interact with nature. Each cabin has big windows in 3 of the four walls, allowing perceiving the aroma and the breezes of the tropics, also it has a private bathroom with wide windows to enjoy the sound of birds and the surrounding vegetation, just relax under the hot water after a day full of adventures. Each cabin also includes a coffee maker, minibar, a fan, rocking chairs and a spacious private terrace with a spectacular view of the Miravalles, Santa María and Rincon de la Vieja Volcanoes.

Nestled in a small valley between the Miravalles, Rincon de la Vieja, and Santa Maria Volcanoes, the ranch is surrounded by lush vegetation. There converge three different micro climates, dry forest, tropical pre-mountain forest, and the cloud forest, forming an incredible explosion of biodiversity. In the heart of this remarkable rainforest, they grow and harvest macadamia nuts, cacao (chocolate), heart of palm, taro, cardamom, organic tropical fruits and vegetables, medicinal herbs, as well as thousands of tropical flowers. The ranch is part of La Colonia Libertad town, where 55 families work in agriculture to support their families. The ranch provides working opportunities for local men and women, allowing them to maintain their families through this project. The Ranch is also committed to working in harmony with the environment and the local community as well.
It is located in a valley between three volcanoes, the Miravalles, Rincon de La Vieja and Santa María, in Aguas Claras, Upala.
Access to Finca La Anita is available to international travelers through either the Liberia or San Jose International Airports. Located about an hour and a half north of the Pan-Am highway, Finca La Anita offers a reasonable drive from either airport.La Anita Rainforest Ranch is located in the northern Costa Rican rainforest, about 2 hours north of the city of Liberia in Colonia Libertad de Aguas Claras, Upala, nestled in a valley between three volcanoes, the Rincon de la Vieja, Santa María and Miravalles. It is located 75 minutes from Bagaces, from there to Aguas Claras the road is paved and the following 14km are gravel until you reach Colonia Libertad.
