How to get there: From San José, the trip lasts about three and a half hours. From San José, the trip lasts about three and a half hours. Take the Braulio Carrillo highway # 32. Continue driving through Guápiles, Siquirres, Matina until you get to Limón City. Just before arriving downtown Limón you will pass through a cemetery. Continue through this road for 1 km until you see a sign on your right to Cahuita and Puerto Viejo. Turn to the right and drive through the coastline road passing Cahuita, Home Creek until Puerto Viejo.
