Location: Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula

How to get there: If you are driving, take the Southern Interamerican Highway that passes through Cartago and continues to San Isidro del General. Once you arrive to San Isidro del General follow the signs to Palmar Norte where you will take a right after the
bridge heading towards Palmar Sur and Sierpe. From Sierpe you will travel with us through the beautiful Sierpe river, the jungle manglars and then follow the Pacific coast until you arrive at the lodge. There are no roads to Drake Bay and access is only by motor launch or by air.

Drake Bay Wilderness Reserve (standard)

Drake Bay Wilderness Resort, is settled in Drake Bay, one of the most beautiful places in the Southwestern corner of Costa Rica.
The lodge has been built facing the ocean at a great spot for swimming or kayaking, with the river rushing behind. The resort offers 20 cabins set right by the Aguilitas River which is a great place for water sports. Drake Bay Resort also offers free laundry services, swimming pool with ocean view and personalized service by its bilingual staff which have great knowledge about the area.

20 Cabins: great views of the bay, mountains and rain forest, double and single beds, private tiled bath rooms, hot showers, ceiling fans, reading lamps, 24 hour electricity and a front porch for relaxing after a busy day.

Features: Swimming pool, restaurant, bar, free laundry service and tour desk.

Food & Beverages: The hotel’s open-air restaurant and bar features freshly caught local seafood, meats, tropical fruits (grown on the property’s organic farm) and homemade breads and desserts. Its buffet style breakfast includes 4 styles of cooked eggs, gallo pinto, potato paddies, pancakes and much more. There is also a fruit bar which includes banana, watermelon, cantaloupe, and more. The hotel’s fully stocked bar opens from 3:30 pm to 10:00 pm and offers tropical cocktails as well as national and imported liquors and beers.
