Rincon de la Vieja
This park is named after the active Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. Being one of the most accessible volcanoes of the area, you can reach the numerous cones, craters, and lagoons either on horseback or by foot. In here you will also find fumaroles and boiling mud pools, steam vents, and sulfurous hotsprings with therapeutic properties. Various tours are offered by some of the lodges outside the park including canopy, horseback, hiking, and birding tours.
