Manuel Antonio, Quepos
The trip takes approximately 3 hours driving from San Jose. When leaving San Jose take the main Pan American highway (Carretera Interamericana) going North towards Puntarenas. The highway will pass the Juan Santa Maria airport. Stay on the Interamericana for about 10-15 minutes more, until you see an exit for a town (pueblo) called Atenas. There is a sign that reads Atenas / Orotina / Jaco. Take this exit and continue driving for about 2 hours following the signs to Jaco. You will pass the entrance to Playa Jaco, continue driving straight for about 1 more hour, following the signs to Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Once you arrive at Quepos follow the signs to Manuel Antonio. Following the road to Manuel Antonio, to your left you will see the hotel Mono Azul. You must turn at the next entrance to your left and you will see the sign for ''California Hotel''.
