Traveling to Mango Moon is very scenic! SEE OUR COUNTRY MAP .From the San Jose International Airport, take the Pan-American Highway west approximately 10KM to Atenas. Exit right at the Atenas - Orotina sign and turn left crossing over the highway continuing through the scenic mountains past Orotina. You will drive through the mountains for about one hour; once you get to the town of San Mateo follow the signs to Jaco, Parrita, and then Quepos. Once in Quepos, follow the signs that will take you up the hill approximately 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) on the only road to Manuel Antonio National Park. Turn right after Barba Roja (across from Café Milagra) and continue 200 meters past La Mariposa on the right. You have reached El Mango Moon.
