The Jacques Cousteau Room at the La Mansion Inn offers a unique dining concept of menu items that reflect seasonal availability of local foods. Besides being one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Central America, we are the only restaurant in Costa Rica that offers such a large variety of table-side prepared items such a Caesar Salad, Pasta Carbonara, Steak au Poivre, Shrimp Flambe, Crepes Suzette, Bananas Foster and other traditional delicacies. We also offer special selection on Angus Steaks, Loin Lamb Chops and Pasta with Sea Scallops.
We first start you of with a small complimentary glass of Champagne, followed by a complementary appetizer.
Next, we offer you a selection of dinner breads. Your selection of Vinaigrette for your salad is prepared table-side from a selections of oils and vinegards of your choice. Between courses and to ''cleanse the palate'', we offer you a tropical Mango sorbet.
Our food is great and our staff is professional. Because of our limited space, our only requirement is that we serve our guest by ''Reservation Only'' so we have the opportunity to serve you only the freshed products. We hope to hear from you and send you a menu.
Our suites and rooms are anything but "standard". All are air conditioned and have bathrooms, a dresser, television, in-room telephone system, outside sitting area and desks. Every room has sliding glass doors which open to incredible views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding jungle.
Deluxe Room - Beautifully decorated, air-conditioned room with king-size bed, oversized shower, and bathroom, dresser, television, telephone, safe deposit box, mini bar, outside dining area, sitting area and desk. The room offers a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and Manuel Antonio.
Junior Suite - This large, beautifully decorated suite features a large living area with confortable sofa and dining area. The bedroom opens onto a balcony with full ocean view and the bathroom boasts an oversized shower. Standard features include cable television, in room telephone system, outside sitting area, work desks, air-conditioning, safe deposit box, mini bar, and refrigerator.
Presidential Suite - This award-winning suite (Pure Decadence Award 2004 - Elite Traveler Magazine) is without a doubt one of the most tasteful and decorated issues in all of Central and South America. Lavishly furnished, the main bedroom offers a Jacuzzi complete with 24-carat gold faucets, double-headed shower, bidet, first-class works of art, very large connecting balcony, and a spectacular and unforgettable view of the Pacific Ocean and Manuel Antonio National Park.
The adjacent living room and dining area offers a separate television set with satellite television, another full bathroom leading to the hotel pool and Jacuzzi areas. This suite can be connected to another deluxe room. The living area of each suite is equipped with a king-size sofa bed, which can accomodate two more people.

La Mansion Inn is situated on a mountainside overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Manuel Antonio National Park. The Inn is just minutes away from pristine beaches, sport fishing at Quepos harbor, and the local airport slightly sloped at 15 minutes. Located in Manuel Antonio, near Costa Rica's famous National Park, La Mansion is nestled in one of the last remaining "natural zoos" of the world.
The Inn is of elegant Mediterranean design. Our interior displays a very large number of original paintings by some of Costa Rica's top artists. An eco-friendly project, most water at the Inn is heated by solar energy.
Manuel Antonio
The trip takes approximately 3 hours driving from San Jose. When leaving San Jose take the main Pan American highway (Carretera Interamericana) going North towards Puntarenas. The highway will pass the Juan Santa Maria airport. Stay on the Interamericana for about 10-15 minutes more, until you see an exit for a town (pueblo) called Atenas. There is a sign that reads Atenas / Orotina / Jaco. Take this exit and continue driving for about 2 hours following the signs to Jaco. You will pass the entrance to Playa Jaco, continue driving straight for about 1 more hour, following the signs to Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Once you arrive at Quepos, follow the signs to Manuel Antonio. On the top of the hill you will find Cafe Milagro Coffee Shop. From this Coffee Shop turn right. Hotel is located 500mtrs from the main road, on the right hand side.
