Club del Mar - Jaco Beach Costa Rica

Club del Mar Hotel and Resort is settled in a quiet cove with a strong connection to nature at the south end of Jaco Beach, in the Central Pacific Region of Costa Rica. The resort is located on a private beachfront property with green gardens and mature trees that have been given special care. It features 4 single bedrooms, 18 ocean view casitas and 2 penthouse suites all decorated by award winning decorators and surrounded by tropical vegetation. During the day Club del Mar guests can enjoy a large variety of water sports: safe swimming, canoeing, body surfing and boogie boarding. Steps away from the surf visitors can freshen up in tropical swimming pool or have a fresh salad lunch with a great ocean view at ''Sandalias Restarant''. The large mature trees of the property will ensure guests shade with ocean breeze for a delicious afternoon nap. During the evening guests will enjoy walking through downtown Jaco where they will find a variety of interesting shops, restaurants and night life.

Jacó Beach

The trip takes between 1 1/2 to 2 hours driving from San Jose. When leaving San Jose take the main highway (Carretera Interamericana) going North towards Puntarenas. The highway will pass the Juan Santa María airport. Stay on the Interamericana for about 10-15 minutes more, until you see an exit for a town (pueblo) called Atenas. There is a sign that reads Atenas / Orotina / Jaco. Take this exit and continue driving following the signs to Jaco. Take the first entrance to Jaco and once you downtown, from the Hotel Best Western Jaco Beach, drive 2 blocks east towards the center of Jaco. Once in Jaco ask for El Arroyo Service Station. Club del Mar is 300 yards south of the service station.
