Itinerary:
Day 01 Arrival / San Jose Airport
A representative from Costa Rican Trails will meet you at the gate and will provide you with a welcome kit on Costa Rica.
Transfer to El Rodeo Hotel for your first night in Costa Rica.
Evening free to relax and enjoy hotel’s swimming pool.
Overnight at El Rodeo Hotel, Standard Room. Breakfast is included.

Day 02 Poas Volcano – La Paz Waterfalls Gardens
On this combination tour you will experience in one day at a no rush pace what is considered the most recommended tour in Costa Rica. We begin our journey driving by the city of Alajuela is proud to display the monument of our National Hero “Juan Santamaria”. We now begin our assent to the national park where we soon will relax and enjoy an authentic cup of Costa Rican coffee accompanied by a delicious tropical
breakfast. You will feel a change in temperature and the lush vegetation becomes apparent, preparing us for the pleasures of the exuberant cloud forest of the Poás Volcano.
On a clear day the view of the main crater is admired by all visitors, its diameter is considered one of the widest in the world. As we continue towards the Caribbean zone, we will stop to discover La Paz Waterfall Gardens, a Nature Park where we will
walk on the truly spectacular trails that will lead us to Magia Blanca Falls (the largest and the most spectacular of the falls in the area). At the Park you will also witness the largest enclosed butterfly observatory in the world with a beautiful collection of tropical jewels.

Day 03 San Josè – Arenal
Depart after breakfast on a private transfer to the Arenal Volcano area.
One of the most active volcanoes of the world, cloud forests, a lake world-famous for windsurfing and an incredibly diverse population of wildlife is what you will find in this
area. The flawless silhouette of Arenal Volcano, its loud rumblings and frequent explosions of lava and ash are a sight not to be missed by any visitor to Costa Rica.
In the afternoon - Hike to Arenal Volcano & Hot Springs
You will do a short hike into the trails of the El Mirador Park then continue to the Hot Springs. Enjoy and relax in these thermal mineral pools.

Day 04 Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge
A fascinating boat trip through a tropical wilderness, located in the North Atlantic lowland tropical forest. Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge is considered to be one of the richest
sites for birdwatchers in this continent.
Duration: Full day.
Includes: Transportation, entrance fee, lunch & bilingual guide.

Day 05 Arenal – Monteverde
Early in the morning, you will experience a lake crossing transfer towards Monteverde
area.
Monteverde was founded about 40 years ago by a small group of conservation-minded Quakers who were looking for a peaceful place to live. The Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is one of the most outstanding wild life sanctuaries in the tropics. This high elevation rain forest offers miles of trails with excellent opportunities for bird watching. The resplendent Quetzal is often sighted up here (mostly January to July). It is for
this reason that more visitors are attracted to this private reserve than to any other in Costa Rica.
In the afternoon, you will be picked up at the hotel to start your Sky Walk Tour.

Sky Walk is a system of trails, suspension bridges, and ziplines built within the Monteverde
Cloud Forest that offers visitors the opportunity to observe and appreciate

Day 6 Horseback Ride
Enjoy a wonderful horseback ride tour through different sceneries of Santa Elena area. You’ll pass through some secondary forest as well as open fields. Enjoy the beautiful mountain views, as well as the fresh clean mountain air!

Day 07 Monteverde – Manuel Antonio
After breakfast,private transfer to the world famous Manuel Antonio.
Considered to be Costa Rica’s most beautiful, Manuel Antonio Park has enchanting white-sand beaches ideal for swimming, and tropical rainforest forest alive with wildlife.

Day 08 Catamaran Coastal Adventure
