Day 1 Arrival/ San Jose

Meet and greet at the international airport and transfer to the Hotel for your first night in Costa Rica.

Day 2 Private Poas Volcano - La Paz Waterfalls
:
Depart with your English speaking driver-guide for the Caribbean lowlands to Sarapiqu�. Along the way stop at the Po�s Volcano, La Paz waterfall, a hummingbird gallery and the largest butterfly enclosure in the world. Take a break for lunch at the La Paz Waterfall Gardens restaurant (included into package). Arrive to Sarapiqui late afternoon. Sue�o Azul Hotel will be your home base for the next two nights.

Day 03 Sarapiqui River Adventure
:
The next morning, after breakfast, depart for the Sarapiqu� River boat trip. A two-hour ride along calm waters that will give you the chance to witness the magnificent rainforest and its inhabitants, such as toucans, monkeys, sloths, crocodiles and many other species. Return to the hotel and enjoy a home-style lunch afterwards. Choose horseback riding or a hike on one of the nature trails at this enchanting farm.(tours not included into package). (B/L)
Day 04 Arenal Volcano

After breakfast enjoy a scenic drive through the San Carlos Valley to the Arenal Volcano where you will check into the Arenal Paraiso. Relax in the thermal waters and enjoy Arenal's dramatic performance or receive an invigorating spa treatment. (B)
Day 5 - 6 Bosque de Paz
:
Today the day starts with a scenic drive to Bosque de Paz, the Peace Forest. This 988 acre private reserve serves as a corridor between two National Parks: Poas and Juan Castro Blanco. This rain and cloud forest is a bird life sanctuary where the Resplendent Quetzal and the emerald toucanet are frequently seen. Bosque de Paz is where you will overnight this two days.
The next morning, explore the flora and fauna that surrounds the area with your local guide. Free afternoon to relax. (B/L/D)
Day 7 San Jose
:
Return to San Jose and Courtyard Marriott Hotel for your last night in Costa Rica. (B)
Day 8 Departure
:
After breakfast, transfer to airport or take advantage of one of the many beach extensions available. (B)

What to Bring:
- Clothing: Costa Rica is a very informal and casual country. Formal attire is only used in the city of San Jose and on very special occasions (Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries)
- We recommend to bring a sweater for the highland areas, and light loose fitting shirts, pants or jeans, and shorts for the lowland areas.
- For the beach areas please don't forget to bring a hat or cap, sunscreen, and sun glasses.
- For the rainforest and the National Parks we recommend hiking boots, a small backpack, water bottle, pocket knife, flashlight, insect repellent, rainwear, and a pair of binoculars to observe animals.
