From February 21st to February 25th, 2009, Mauricio and Wilhelm visited San Juan del Sur, Granada and Managua in Nicaragua to inspect some new hotels in each area.

The beach where Arenas Del Mar Beach & Nature Resort is located, was granted the prestigious blue flag award for 2009. The area goes from the spectacular beach on the north side of the grounds which ends at Punta Quepos, a peninsula of primary forest and beautiful rock formations.

Poas Volcano Lodge is nestled into the rolling pastures and the cloudy rainforest at the foothills of the Poas Volcano. After the past earthquake of January 8th, 2009, the Poas Volcano Lodge was affected, however they have been working hard to rebuild the place.
