Individual Fit Bookings Using Costaricantrails- 01 - 04 bookings = 12% (Our Standard is 12% instead of most of 10% commission)
- 05 - 08 bookings = 13% (Our Standard 12% commission plus 1% override)
- 09 - 12 bookings = 14% (Our Standard 12% commission plus 2% override)
- 13 - 20 bookings = 15% (Our Standard 12% commission plus 3% override)
- 21 and over bookings = 16% (Our Standard 12% commission plus 4% override)
EXCEPTIONS / LIMITATIONS:
The commission levels above described applies packages appearing either on our web site or in our special blast e-mails. Net group quotes, special handling fees or special service charges, when applicable, as well as departure taxes are not commissionable.
Group Commission Policies: A group constitutes a minimum of 10 passengers traveling together. In order to qualify for a free tour escort, a group will require a minimum of between 15 and 20 paying passengers. The incentive commission scale appearing above is applicable for any group utilizing Costa Rican Trails tours. Groups requiring a custom-designed itinerary are generally quoted on a net basis, providing your agency with maximum earning power, and allowing you to determine what your profit margins will be. Net group bookings do not qualify for commission, but will be counted as a booking, thereby increasing the number of bookings produced by your agency during the period it was booked. All tour inclusions, deposit, payment and cancellation schedules will appear on the group contract, which will be provided when securing group space.
Effective Date: This commission policy is in effect for a period of one year and will go into effect upon completion of signatures by your agency and our management. The number of bookings completed to qualify for the commission levels above described must be accomplished during the term of this agreement, and are retroactive to the first booking.
