Pacific Bike, Raft & Beach Adventure Special $955p/p

We took some of the best mountain biking
opportunities offered by this land of diversity and combined them with the best White Water Rafting and our favorite beaches to create these two itineraries.
It is not about screaming downhills or tough, technical single-track trails. Enjoy guided recreational mountain biking on scenic secondary country roads exploring active volcanoes, coffee plantations, tropical rivers and lowland rainforests all the way to that perfect beach on our Caribbean or Pacific Coast.

Itinerary:
Day 01 (San José – Santa Clara)
Pick up at your hotel in San Jose to begin today’s adventure. Ride from the top of the continental divide, through cloud forests and cattle farms to the Santa Clara lowlands in northern Costa Rica. During the afternoon we’ll shuttle to our hotel located in an
operating cattle farm.

Day 02 (Toro White Water Rafting/Arenal)
The emerald green waters of the Río Toro run for several miles between steep canyon walls with 100 foot waterfalls. Our full day rafting trip involves lots of whitewater
action, exotic wildlife and great scenery. Later we shuttle to the town of La Fortuna,
which lies just east of Arenal Volcano where we’ll visit the famous thermal springs. We’ll
finish the day with a traditional dinner with home made tortillas and a visit to a lookout
point to see the red glow of the lava coming down from the crater of Arenal.
Overnight at a lodge in Arenal, standard accomodations.

Day 03 (Arenal Volcano & lake – Tamarindo)
Today we’ll ride at the base Arenal Volcano National Park and along the deserted southern shore of Lake Arenal. We’ll use an abandoned lane through secondary forest, crossing several streams and enjoying superb views of the lake and the volcano. In the
afternoon we’ll drive to the popular Tamarindo Beach on the Pacific coast.
Overnight at a lodge in Tamarindo, standard accomodations

Day 04 (Tamarindo)
Bike ride along the coast at this surfer’s paradise. Tamarindo beach is also the perfect place to take surfing lessons, or simply sunbathe at the beach. A Canopy tour is also
available.
Overnight at a lodge in Tamarindo, standard accomodations

Day 05 (Return to San Jose)
After breakfast, return to San Jose.
End of services.
